Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society is a nonprofit chapter-based membership organization located at colleges and universities within the United States. The Society’s mission is to encourage and reward academic excellence among first-generation college students pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accredited institutions of higher learning. Induction into Tri-Alpha is earned by outstanding academic achievement and lasts for a lifetime.

Membership Benefits

• The opportunity to meet other first-generation scholars from all academic disciplines on your campus and to join them in promoting academic excellence and creating a supportive environment for first-generation college students.

At the Washburn University Community Garden, our mission is rooted in fostering growth – both in the form of nutritious produce and the sense of unity that flourishes within our garden's bounds. Guided by principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship, we strive to provide a hands-on learning environment that empowers individuals with the knowledge and skills to lead more sustainable lives while also addressing food security on campus.
